I'm currently looking into a way to use email addresses as usernames for server logins. My main issue is that OpenBSD user accounts cannot have @ symbols in them, and I'd like to avoid using a different file to store username:password-hash combos so passwd still works. I'll let y'all know what I end up doing!

Hmail is going down for a bit, user data has been wiped.
Virtual users are hard.

ah i noticed that when it couldn't connect. Rithvik emailed me, and I was able to reply - but then refreshing I didn't see anything.
Don't be discouraged - you are a pioneer and doing something amazing for the future of the internet - KEEP IIT UP
BUT - the main thing - do you know how to setup your own Name Server?
for handshake.mercenary we are using iamfernando's
It isn't in Namebase's Name server (currently, hopefully soon) so you need a custom nameserver.
Oh... ok I can wait untill namebase adds the option

Hey everyone! I've completely revamped the service. It is now a paid service (hopefully I can host it at a profit after a little bit), and the registration process has changed because of that. It's still the same idea, ssh register@hmail.app, but you'll notice some more steps. Also, the IP address of the server *did* change so your SSH client may yell at you about that.
