But for now got an error - but Rithvik said maybe your service isn't recognizing SLD? can you check



when doing it - got this error:

Invalid MX record.
Your MX record should look something like this:

handshake.mercenary. 300 IN MX 0 hmail.app.

If you're interested in trying this out and helping me work out the kinks, create an MX record pointing towards hmail.app and respond to this thread with your desired email address. The registration script now uses the authoritative name server for a given email to check the MX and TXT records. This should mean that once you set the records you can verify them instantly!

That is pretty great! For now, I'm keeping the service on standard DNS though, hosting it on standard DNS greatly reduces the likelihood that our emails are marked as spam. I can even send messages to Gmail accounts and they aren't automatically junked!

I see people registering tld’s like googleauthenticator/ , Microsoftsupport/ ...So it may lead to people being spammed and tricked....and soon they will be marked as spam!

So for things like that, there is a level of manual review that is implemented. I've got a cronjob set up that emails me every day with a list of accounts that has signed up, so if I see any email addresses that are obviously about to be used for phishing or scamming, they'll be removed immediately.

Turns out that I was validating TXT records wrong, go ahead and give it a try again!
